While investigating recent changes in weather patterns a few months ago, I came across some very disturbing information. Apparently, there is some kind of planetary alignment taking place in the universe which is supposed to peak December 21, 2012. There’s a LOT of internet discussion on this topic. Try to research it and you’ll get hundreds of articles about it.
Could this planetary alignment be what’s causing our climate changes? After researching page after page of information, I’m inclined to believe there may be some kind of connection. The position of the planets has always influenced our weather patterns, and the closer we get to the year 2012, the worse it’s supposed to get.
The devastating disasters that are happening around the world such as killer tornadoes, and tsunamis, along with unusual weather like snow in Baghdad, prompted me to check into what’s happening with our weather. Then I discovered this December 2012 dooms day prediction. But the recent earthquakes, cyclones and tsunamis have been a real eye opener.
What’s going on with our weather?! Who’s going to get it next? How bad is it going to get? Something is happening to our planet and I believe the planetary alignment has something to do with it. However, you would think that an alarming planetary event like this would get full media attention, yet I’ve heard nothing about it on the news.
Still, we can’t ignore what’s happening around the world and the one reality that people seem to be ignoring is that we could be next. I don’t mean to sound like an alarmist, but at the same time, I believe we have a global situation where the weather is going bonkers and perhaps we should start preparing for possible danger from these kinds of weather-related events.
Alarmists are all over the internet spreading dooms day panic, but if there’s even a thread of truth in what they are saying (and considering the terrible things that have already happened, I believe there is) we should stop, get our heads out of the sand, and take a good solid look around.
Even chance favors the prepared mind. If you knew, or suspected a disaster, you would already be more prepared than those who are blind sided by it.
What’s happening in our solar system? Alarmists believe it’s dooms day. New age groups believe we are entering a new age of enlightenment. Christians believe it’s the return of Jesus Christ.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” (Matt. 24)
So how should we prepare? Preparing for the body is wise, but preparing for the body before first preparing for the soul is foolish. Jesus is very displeased with the lukewarm church of this age. If you’re a Christian, are you lukewarm? He’s right there with you and wants you to remember your first love and come back to Him. If you’re not a Christian, Jesus said, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
Simply turn from sin, acknowledge Christ as Lord and ask him to be your savior. He will do the rest.
“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18)
Recent changes in weather patterns may be nothing at all to be concerned about, but we shouldn’t bury our head in the sand. Jesus said to be vigilant and watch. We need to pay attention to what’s happening around us but more importantly, we need to know what to look for. It’s in the Bible. Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21
