I recently tried out two different brands of cotton swabs. Publix Cotton Swabs and Rite Aid Cotton Swabs are both very close in price but, not even close in performance. Here is what I discovered about these two products.
Publix Cotton Swabs are a fantastic deal. I got a box of these swabs for around one dollar. These cotton swabs are double tipped and have one hundred percent pure cotton tips. These cotton swabs are made with natural cotton. When I tried out these cotton swabs, I was very impressed with the softness of them! They are super soft and gentle. These cotton swabs seemed to be softer than any other brand that I have ever tried. When I consider how inexpensive product is, that fact amazes me. These cotton swabs have more than enough cotton on them to do any job that I needed them to do. From cleaning my ears to many other jobs, these swabs performed unlike no other. Their absorbency was fantastic and they did not pull apart easily. That fact was wonderful! Publix Cotton Swabs get a five stars out of five stars rating from me. They could not have been any better. It is rare that a product impresses me more than any other brand that I have tried.
Publix Cotton Swabs did not tear apart easily and these cotton swabs are not only very gentle and soft, they are tough. They are very handy and useful for many things and outstanding in whatever task I used them for. There are many reasons that I think that this product is a true winner. Budget wise and performance wise, I was very pleased with this item. I highly recommend this product and will be buying these cotton swabs again. They are my brand of choice.
Rite Aid Cotton Swabs are pretty inexpensive, around two dollars for three hundred cotton swabs. I thought that was a good deal until I used these cotton swabs. The box of Rite Aid Cotton Swabs state that these cotton swabs are soft. Well, I do not agree. These cotton swabs hurt me when I cleaned my outer ears with them. I could feel the paper sticks, through the cotton. These cotton swabs were very rough and tried to tear apart as soon as I used them. The box of Rite Aid Cotton Swabs also stated that these cotton swabs are safe and hygienic. Well, I think that this product might be hygienic but, safe is pushing it. These swabs hurt, when I used them. I thought that this brand of cotton swabs was the worst brand that I have ever tried. I really hate to say that a product is bad but, this product was a huge disappointment to me.
Rite Aid Cotton Swabs make many statements on their box of cotton swabs about how their product is good for baby care, health care, beauty care and pet care but, all I can say is that Publix Cotton Swabs are gentler, more effective, softer and did a much better job. To look at the boxes of both of these products, you could never guess that they were so different in performance and quality. I was shocked. I will not be buying Rite Aid Cotton Swabs again. They get a one star out of five stars rating from me. I was very disappointed with this product.
This product comparison was a learning experience for me. It proves that all brands are not the same and it also proved to me that some companies make great quality products for low prices and some don’t. I am glad that I compared both of these products and experienced the difference. My main problem with Rite Aid Cotton Swabs was that they were hard. Publix Cotton Swabs are much softer. That is why I rated them so differently.
