When I think of Boston, I think the Celtics and big city living, in that order. But there are actually some nice places for horseback riding there. So to help out the equestrian minded, I have compiled a list of places to go horseback riding in Boston Massachusetts. I will provide a link to their webpage and a phone number if possible in each description.
The Boston Equestrian Center is located at 44 McIntyre Road, North Oxford MA. You can call them at 508-987-6141, email them at email@example.com or see their site here. Just some of the services they offer are riding lessons, horse boarding, clinics , and horses for sale, among other things. There is also the St. George Tack Shop which you can check out here.
Berkshire Horseback Adventures is located on Route 7A in Lennox. Call them at 413-697-9090, email them at firstname.lastname@example.org. But since you are already on the internet reading this (and thank you for that) check out their sitehere. What I like about Berkshire is that you go on guided rides on trails and see some nice scenery. They guide you on trails through Kennedy Park as well as on Lenox Mountain.
Black Sand Stable (I love the name) can be found in Orleans MA on Cape Cod. Call them at 508-255-7185 or email them at email@example.com or check out theirsite. Black Sand offers one hour lessons which for new riders, includes how to care for the horse and how to tack him/her. They offer trail guided trail rides for 10 years old and up. You must have a riding helmet and proper footgear. Black Sand Stable also offers horse boarding and from time to time, horse sales.
Cutler Farm 338 North Road Medfield MA, call them at 508-359-2191, email them at Info@CutlerFarmDressage.com or look at their site. Just some of their services include, boarding, training, clinics and horse sales.
Liberty Tree Farm 24 Liberty Street, Acton MA, call 978-635-1930 or check out their webpage here. The beautiful white house on the farm is worth the visit in it’s own right. Liberty Tree offers instruction in both English and Western riding styles. They also have horses and ponies available and do boarding as well.
Briggs Stable is at 623 Hanover Street in Hanover MA, call them at781-826-3191 or check out their website here. They offer various types of lessons and also have some fine horses for sale.
Summerland Stables 86 Greenwood Ave in Seekonk MA, 774-644-2212, email them at firstname.lastname@example.org or look at thesite. They offer riding lessons at what appears to me, a reasonable rate. They have horse boarding services and a Saddle Club. And they sell show horses and ponies as well.
