As a woman, I find I have precious little time to pamper myself. I think this is true for most working moms, whether they stay at home to raise their children or go out to work. Yet we all know that these little luxuries can help us keep on keepin’ on, through screaming kids, irate husbands and all the other things that just drain us by day’s end. During our current tough economic times, it can be enormously difficult to justify spending money purely on ourselves. One night I visited www.fantasybath.com and was delighted to discover a wide range of wholly natural and beautifully fragranced products for the body and bath.
I was introduced to the site through a fellow writer at Shared Reviews-Denise Blackwell, who along with her husband Mark, own Fantasy Bath. She explained that each and every product was carefully hand tested and chosen using only the finest ingredients. Shea Butter, Dead Sea Salts, aloe, Sunflower and Soy oils, plus a plethora of herbs. No petroleum by products are used in her formulas. And each of her fragrances are custom blended, after Denise meets with her product designer Anthony. Not only are their family members totally involved in the production of these fine bath and body products, Denise employs special needs folks in her warehouse. All of this speaks to the character and integrity of this woman.
Where to start? The Dead Sea Bath Salts are simply glorious. They come in a big choice of fragrances, or you can get them unscented. I tried Neptune last night. The fragrant bubbles and cool blue waters were a relaxing treat after a long days work. There were no undissolved grains underfoot and the steaming water enveloped my aching body in scented comfort. Dead Sea salts come from Israel, where millions of visitors come to benefit from the mineral rich waters. Thankfully we don’t have to go that far to get the same treatment here at home. They are medically proven to be of help to anyone suffering with arthritis or psoriasis. I can personally attest from long experience that they do indeed help ease aching arthritic joints.
The prices are very reasonable:
9 ounce bag $6.90
1 pound bag $9.75
3 pound bag $26.00
If you want to double your bubbles, you can do so for $1.00 more
If you want or need extra moisturizing in your bath, you can drop a Bath Melt into your water. These little treats are cunningly wrapped like candies and come in a tiny gift box. of 3, or the larger half pound box. I just love the way these gently soften your skin without leaving a greasy film. The box of three costs $6.95, while the half pound box will be $12.95. These would be adorable stuffed in a stocking at Christmas!
The Shea Butters are amazing. I tried Bliss first-a soft herbal/floral. Its light texture surprised me, as I’m used to a thicker heavier feeling in a body butter. But this is something else! I tested it on my bare arm for over 10 hours. When I compared it to my untreated arm, the difference was very obvious. The treated arm was noticeably more supple and much softer. There was no residual greasiness or stickiness as it penetrates the skin immediately. Used daily, your skin improves significantly. For a mere $7.50 a jar, this is a best buy. As with Denises other items, the Shea Body Butter can be had with a big variety of fragrances. Here are my particular favorites:
Petal To the Metal
There are so many wonderful products in this line, I could take up reams of text writing about them. Instead, I recommend you go and see for yourself what wonderful treats Fantasy Baths has waiting for you. This is an American company, producing excellent products right here at home. The pride of product and care that go into making each and every bath bar or body butter shows. It gives me great pride to introduce a company that bases itself on the old fashioned American values of honesty, integrity and concern for the welfare of others.
