In the months I have been on Associated Content I have read a lot of good articles. Some of the articles are written by professional writers who have been writing for a long time and others are from writers who are starting out. I’m one of those writers who is starting out. Actually, I have never written professionally in my life before but as a child that was always a dream. So being on AC is fulfilling my dream. I’m allowed to write and if no one reads it I can’t be too disappointed. Okay maybe I can, but all in all it’s still a lot of fun for me and it relieves stress.
I have written on a wide variety of topics from autos, news/gossip, sports, politics, to children. I have written in different styles and different topics just to stir things up a bit and see if my article would get any comments. The things I wrote not expecting to get comments would get comments. I’m not talking about the comments from other producers on AC because if you leave comments for them of course they leave comments for you. That’s where most of my comments come from and I only get a few that I am quite grateful for. The ones I was looking to get more of were the people in general who would comment on a topic because it’s something that excites them or interests them or even makes them mad. People that don’t even know you exist until they stumble over something you have written. Those are the people I have been trying to see if they were alive.
I love when people leave me comments. I love the nice comments but I also like those comments that are critiquing in some way. I really love the people who comment that have opposing views. That’s where you really get a chance to explore a different angle to what you think. That’s what I like is the mind challenge. No one has really made me mad because I have this strange sense of humor that I usually find most things amusing.
There are a couple of writers that I really love there work. It also turns out that some of them are professional writers and have been writers for a long time. When I say professional writers, I mean someone hired them for their qualifications and they got paid for their writing or their work. These people were journalists and for what ever reason landed among our graces of Associated Content. I read their writings in hope of improving my own and learn from their experiences. I was blessed to get a couple of them to answer some of my questions. As I read their work I wondered about them personally as to what made them who they are. I hope you look for the interviews coming soon.
Thanks for reading my articles!
