I have always had combination oily/dry skin. My oily spots tend to always surface on the exac spots by noon everyday. My forehead, and my nose.
I have used tons of products, some with good results, some with results so terrible that it makes my skin even more oily.
So Where Does Biore Shine Control Moisturizer Fit In?
Somwhere right in the middle. It’s not a terrible shine control moisturizer, nor is it an excellent one, worthy of bragging rights.
I’m sick of it! I have people tell me that in order to eliminate shine, I should use a moisturizer. So I go out, but moisturizers, and my skin is still oily…now with pimples. My skn tends to react badly when it comes to creams and moisturizers. I break out!
I figure I break out because most moisturizers I use cause oil to form. When I came across Biore Shine Control Moisturizer, I was thrilled. A moisturizer, that also controls shine. Whats better than that!?
I planned on pairing the moisturizer with my makeup every morning. Like many, I was going to use the moisturizer first, and then put on some makeup.
How’d It Work Out:
Wonders for the first few hours. The lotion itself had a gorgeous scent to it, and absrobed really quickly. After it was fully dry I simply added my makeup with fantastic oil free results. I had a nice clean and clear mate finish to my skin. Just the way I like it.
My skin remained oil free for the majority of the day. Then at about 3pm I felt my forehead and it had that oil slick that I knew to well, and hated too much.
Biore Shine Control Moisturizer works part time only. It does last longer than most shine control products I have used, but it is not the best. I was expecting all day shine free skin. What I got was half a day of shine free skin.
Most likely I wont buy Biore Shine Control Moisturizer again. I’ll pass. Seek out something different. It just does not last long enough for me to want to buy it again. I will however continue to use it till it is gone. Perhaps lopng term results will work better?
You can pick up a box of Biore Shine Control Moisturizer at any local drug store or mass merchandise store. Mine came to around $7.00 for a 1.7 ounce plastic bottle.
The lotion comes in cardboard packaging, which is green and has the Biore logo on it. The lotion itself has an easy to use pump, that you simply press down for application.
