If you’re like me, you may change your MySpace page with each holiday or special occasion. In my quest for re-do my page for April Fool’s Day, I found the following sites which may help you decorate your page. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a site to get any layouts for April Fool’s (then again what in the world could possibly fit) so overload with these cute and funny graphics instead. I also added a few old but charming pranks to have some fun on this glorious day of prank pulling. Hope you get the last laugh!
www.xoospace.com/index.php?go=graphics&q=April+Fools – probably one of the better sites with a lot of choices for April Fool’s Day graphics.
www.wishafriend.com/graphics/holidays/aprilfoolsday/ – a few cute graphics for this holiday.
www.satisfaction.com/codes/april-fools-day-graphics-comments-1.php – there are several graphics on here to choose from. I like this site because the graphics tend to be a little larger than most other sites. Better for holidays like this one where there aren’t too many options.
www.zwani.com/graphics/april_fools_day/?page=2 – you can find a couple pages of word graphics here.
www.zingerbug.com/holidays/AprilFools/index.htm – nothing too exciting here. Just a few picture and word graphics.
www.123mycodes.com/aprilfools/ – here you can get a comment box and banners for April Fools.
chromaluna.com/content/holidays/aprilfools/aprilfools.htm – this site has some funny graphics and jokes for your MySpace page.
I know we’ve seen this a hundred times on TV, but how many of you have actually tried it. Remember, it’s only water so it’s easy to clean and the memories are just too great to not try this. I swear it gets funnier every time. Simply wrap a rubber band around the lever on the spray handle in your kitchen sink. Make sure the lever is turned so that when someone turns the water on it will spray them right in the face. Make sure you’re there when they do this and then make sure you run, fast.
This next one works great for people who don’t sleep much. Personally, I don’t see getting up in the middle of the night to do this one, but if you’re a night owl, then this is perfect for you. I wouldn’t do this one to someone who has to get up at 5 am for work. That’s just plain cruel. Save it for the weekend if necessary. Hide an alarm clock as close to possible to the bed of your victim and set it to go off in the middle of the night. They’ll be up but they’ll never find that clock to shut it off. Again, this is relatively mean so make sure you can handle the repercussions.
Another classic which many of us have seen but probably never did. Just make sure you’re willing to clean after pulling this prank. Pour some baby powder into the end of your victim’s hair dryer. When they turn the dryer on, they’ll be covered in the stuff. Probably shouldn’t do this to your girlfriend when she’s getting ready for work unless you don’t mind a black eye.
Now how about a little something for your co-workers. Get a small box (the size of a cake, such as a shirt box which works for a sheet cake) and cover it with chocolate frosting. Guaranteed at least one person in your office will attempt to get a slice and how funny it will be when they can’t cut the cake. I would make sure it’s not the person that decides whether or not you get a raise.
Something else I involved myself in at a law firm I worked for many years ago was quite obnoxious but effective. We collected the little circles from every hole punch in the office and completely covered an attorney’s desk with them. Trust me, there is no easy way to clean these up. At this time there were several other pranks being done, but my favorite was one prank that was pulled on every partner in the firm. There were six of them so this was not a cheap prank but the humor lasted for days. A porta-potty was delivered and set in every partners parking space which was what they found as they arrived for work the next day. Now that was funny!
