Bracelets are a really big trend this spring, but how much money are you willing to spend on them? Now I love bracelets of all kinds gold, silver, diamond, etc, but there is nothing better than having someone make you a homemade one. Back in the day wow I make it sound like I am so old in art class we were taught how to finger paint, pen and ink, canvas painting, still life, and also how to make nifty little things using clay, glue, etc. Why not make a special bracelet that will take you less than 30 minutes or so, depending on how long it takes for the glue to dry by the simple use of using glue?
This is a wonderful and fun gift to give to that special friend, spouse, child, or even family member in your life. Mothers day is around the corner too, so maybe your child would love to do this for her. Nothing better than receiving something made with love from the heart. Love can never be bought. To make this bracelet all you need is nontoxic glue, some really cool colored nontoxic washable markers, and yes your hand. Why do I say this? Simple, because it’s gonna be the palm of your hand that’s gonna create this bracelet.
First thing you are going to do is make sure you wash your hands very well with a good disinfectant soap. Then dry your hands completely to the point where there is no wetness to them at all. Once they are all dried take the glue and place a big circle using that glue onto the palm of your hand. Now grab a art stick spread the glue all over the palm making sure the surface of your palm is covered. Try not to get any glue on your fingers. Let this dry for around 15 minutes or so until the glue is on the clear looking affect.
Once the glue is completely dried grab the colored marker of choice cover that whole glue section in with the marker. Then take either your fingernail or art stick to create a open like circle in the middle. Don’t make a really big circle, just a small one maybe about a inch or so wide lengthwise. Once you did that now continue to keep opening that circle with you nail or stick until you see a complete bracelet and no more glue. try not to break it. If you do you can just start all over no big deal. Then separate the glue edges from your palm of that hand. Now you may try and mold the bracelet by using your fingers or stick. Trust me this takes some patience to do. It may take you a few times to get it right, but once you do it’s so much fun. This is very safe for children to do as well with the parents being there with them. Just have fun create different things. You can try to use different colors at one time too.
